Caidan is 5 years old and the oldest! He is the apple of our eyes. He is smart and creative. He is a lot like is mother in more ways than one. He is very independent and wants to do everything himself. But he always has a desire to learn... well as long as we aren't teaching him. He wants to help with everything... from doing dishes to laundry... but I still can't get him to "want" to pick up his toys.
Caidan has taught us that you can never stop listening or thinking as a parent. He has also taught me that little kids are sneaky. He has taught us patience (I'm not sure that I knew kids could teach us patience... but believe me he has.) But most of all he has taught us to love when its the hardest, to love when you just want to pull your hair out, to love when you just don't think you have any more to give and to love because sometimes that's the only thing you can do.
